This gorgeous textured (off the bolt) 100% wool fabric is perfect for rug hooking, penny rugs, applique, and many other crafts because it has a softer, more rustic appearance. The wool is "off the bolt" and hasn't been washed.
Before washing, the wool's dimensions are 17 inches by 30 inches, or 1/4 yard. Wool does shrink when dyed or washed because it is a natural fiber. Different wools will result in different finished sizes. Since each piece of wool shrinks slightly during washing and drying—some more than others—the measurements are approximate.
